what do parents think of us?

We want to express our gratitude for the excellence we have observed in Silver State's preschool program.  Having four children, we have researched the local preschool community exhaustively and have ourselves been part of five other preschools over the years - four Christian and one Montessori.  We can unequivocally say that Silver State provides the most outstanding program of them all.

We know that with Silver State, we finally have a true partner to aid us as we seek to honor God in how we raise and train our children.  We have been so impressed with the program that we moved our two older children out of one of Jefferson County's most desirable option schools and into Silver State and we are seeing similar fruit in their lives.  Thank you for your commitment to excellence in Christian-based education and your love and care for our kids.

Prior to enrollment at Silver State, my son was in a day care program where he was being looked after but not being challenged enough.  He did not like going there and complained often about being bored.  Now at Silver State, he is learning and thriving.  He comes home excited about what he learned.

Our daughter has been attending Silver State Christian Preschool since August.  During this time, we have noticed a dramatic increase in awareness of God and skill in learning.  Everyday she is excited to come home and tell us what she has learned.  We would highly recommend the preschool program at Silver State.

The first day at Silver State, we pulled into the parking lot where we were greeted by a woman exiting her vehicle.  She immediately referred to my son by name.  Mind you, we had never met her before, but she introduced herself as my son's teacher.  I can't begin to explain how much that means as a parent to have your child known from the very first day.  He felt special.  From that first day I have seen something blossom in my child, and he has not shed a tear about going to school.

Our son is attending his second year of Preschool at Silver State, and we are so happy with our experience.  The teachers have a love for God and a love for the students that shine through in the classroom.  It is wonderful to have our Christian faith reinforced in every aspect of his education. The Bible is an integrated part of the curriculum, and we love to hear him recite Bible verses from memory and recall the Bible stories he has heard.  Our Christian values are also applied as they teach the children love of our country and respect for our nation’s flag.  The Bible and patriotic songs that he sings have become staples in our household.

Our son has leanred more than we could have imagined in two years of Preschool, and at the start of this second semester, he’s starting to recognize words.  When he began Preschool he could hardly sit still or concentrate, and now he has learned to sit quietly in a classroom and even complete “seat work.”  The teachers are energetic and engaging, and he hardly knows that he is learning anything he’s just having fun.  He is excited to come home and share what he has learned with us.  The discipline style is fair and consistent while reinforcing biblical principles.

As parents we make a lot of important decisions about our children and we know that we made the right one when we chose Silver State Christian Preschool.  We feel passionately about the importance of Christian education and feel blessed to be able to have our son attend Silver State.
